The Stirling engine is a 200 year old invention. Modified for solar power, these two planned solar energy plants will provide the same annual electricity output as the Hoover dam (4B KW/year) which can power 1 million households.

That depends on the scale of the power plant. Based on a power plant producing 1,000 MW, the cost per kWh would be less than ten cents.
